French Jacquard Tablecloths

The history of Jacquard linen begins in 1806 when Monsieur Jacquard invented his ingenious  Jacquard Loom in response to King Louis 14th’s appetite for elaborate and beautiful fabric. Famous for their complexity of pattern and range of colors, the designs are woven into the fabric, not printed, the pattern evident on both sides of the cloth. 100% cotton, the tablecloths are soft to the touch with a lovely drape.  One would never suspect the modern twist of Teflon™, incorporated into the thread, until a spilled glass of red wine (or any liquid) just beads up on the cloth. Simply blot dry and machine wash….. these linens are elegant, colorful and easy care.  Bon Appetit!
